Treatment of atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis is a chronic relapsing disease. Its course is characterized by the interweaving cycles of symptom relief (remission) with exacerbation of symptoms (skin dryness, irritation and even wounds). The most troublesome symptom of AD is itching (pruritus), the severity of which depends on the phase of the disease. Atopic dermatitis is also accompanied by disorders of the immune system and changes in the physiology and structure of the skin.

The course of the procedure

Treatment of atopic eczema consists in: relieving inflammation, avoiding scratching and rubbing of eruptions, caring for the skin and restoring its structure, treating infections, avoiding allergens and other irritants. Treatment of atopic dermatitis requires a lot of discipline on the part of the patient, patience and diligence are the key.
